Finnair has extended the operating period for both its Chicago and San Francisco routes.
The Helsinki-Chicago route has been extended until 3 December 2018 with two weekly flights. Originally, the route was set to operate from 19 April until 27 October. Finnair started a seasonal service to Chicago during the summer of 2015.
The Helsinki-San Francisco route has been extended until 5 December 2018 with two weekly frequencies. Originally, the route was to be operated from 3 May until 27 September. Finnair began a seasonal service to San Francisco during the summer of 2017.
Last summer, Chicago and San Francisco were very popular with our customers and the demand has also been strong for the upcoming summer season, says Juha Jrvinen, Chief Commercial Officer at Finnair. We are very excited to offer these two important US destinations to our customers for a longer period in 2018. The extension of these flights will also better cater to the participants planning to attend the Slush tech event in early December.
