The Novotel Samui Resort Chaweng Beach Kandaburi has appointed Stefano Leone as Executive Chef.
Chef Stefano has developed a career of 25 years in gastronomy, having worked in 4 and 5-star hotels in Canada to a Relais & Chteaux property in Bermuda, and city hotels in Egypt and Indonesia as well as several beach resorts in Africa and Asia.
Chef Stefano is a big fan of Thai cuisine. I love the fact its full of flavors and fresh seasonal produce, such as some of my favorites: red and green curry, lemongrass, kaffir lime, the crispy fresh Som Tam with green papaya or green mango and soft-shell crab, as well as fresh seafood, he said
Chef Stefano’s favorite type of cuisine is one that is simple and with a natural balance, such as Provencal and Tuscan, which are seasonal and rustic, and with a long cultural tradition.
